The new orchid set makes gorgeous cards and 3D projects, as you will see in my two projects today. First, I found a clearance rack plant and took off the flowers. Then I stamped the orchids on Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with Raspberry Ripple ink, replaced the flowers with the paper ones, and look at the stunning result!
Then I stamped the other style of orchids on Daffodil Cardstock with Crushed Curry ink. Again, a stunning result. The cards almost designed themselves!
My post last week mentioned that if you turn the Ruffled Embossing Folder upside down, it looks like waves! The Shaving Cream Technique also looks like waves! I combined them and ta da! A pretty cool water scene!

Cards do NOT have to fold in the middle! I love to make cards that are a surprise to open! The Whisper White Cardstock measures 5 1/4 by 4 inches and folded in half, forms the card inside for this card! Using the Layered Leaves Textured Embossing Folder on Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock and backing it with Dapper Denim, makes a bold statement for the Colorful Seasons images from one of my favorite new bundles in the new catalog! The new copper metal ribbon matches perfectly with Soft Suede Ink!

The new RUFFLED embossing folder just says girly to me. Turn it upside down, and it looks like waves! Powder Pink ruffles, Very Vanilla cardstock and Bundle of Love Gold cardstock, paired with gold embossed Born to be Loved and Special Celebrations stamps sets, make a PRETTY pretty card! We are making an even prettier version of this card at Coffee and a Card next week!
