Cards - Halloween & Fall

Color Fuser's October Blog Hop

Halloween cards are so much fun to make!  The colors this month really screamed a Halloween theme.  Love the little potion bottles in the Spooky Cat Bundle and the sentiment from Festive Phrases stamp set.

Color Fusers September Blog Hop!

Coming up with a card with six different colors in it was quite a challenge, but with fall almost upon on us, the leaves from the Colorful Seasons Framelets solved my dilemma.  The "thanks kindly" from the One Big Meaning stamp set seems to add a lot to any card!  Add a Petal Burst Embossing Folder to Espresso Cardstock and the whole card just fell together!   Make sure you jump onto the rest of the blog hop to see how everyone else incorporated all of these colors into their creations!

A Fall Color Theory Card!

This is the second of three cards that I created using both the Color Theory Memories and More Card Pack.  Using the leaves from the Seasonal Layers Thinlets from the Colorful Seasons Bundle.  It was easy to create but looks fabulous!

Trick or Treat!

What little kid wouldn't love to get this little treat when they are trick or treating!  The Here's to Cheers stamp set take some gift giving to a new level with minimum effort!  These take a few minutes to make, but are super cute!  Vary the theme to fit any occasions - Christmas, birthday parties, anniversaries, showers.... We made an adorable Christmas version of this with the Candy Cane Lane Suite at my October Retreat.

These toppers even have a cute message inside!  Notice how I conveniently placed a black bat over the word Christmas to make the stamp fit the season!

Alternative Paisleys

How elegant is this?  Use a small Paisley image over and over to create a border.  Using the same sentiment as last week and the border design from the Detailed Santa Thinlets an elegant card emerges!

Can you believe these are all of the same materials we used in last week's card?

Wait a minute!  What is that bead in the middle of the border?  Looks like a pearl, but it isn't the color of a pearl!  Why not?  It is a pearl embossed with copper embossing powder!
