Negative Image Card Made From the Leftovers of Another Card!

Need a Quick Card?

Need a quick thank you or did you forget someone's birthday? This card is not only a simple fast card, but also uses a minimal amount of DSP and cardstock! Image
Vertical Greetings is so versatile and fun to use, you will find yourself using it over and over! For this card I cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock at 4 1/4 inches by 5 1/2 inches. Then I cut a piece of Pop of Pink heart paper and cut it 4 by 4 inches so I could get nine cards out of the piece. Then I cut a piece of pink striped paper from Pop of Pink and cut it 4 inches by 1 1/4. I cut two pieces of Whisper White at 2 inches and punched the tops with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. On one I stamped the topiary in Basic Black ink and then stamped the top again in Melon Mambo so I could cut it out and popped it over it with a dimensional. Then I trimmed the tags to fit the length of the card. Inside I stamped, "Happy Birthday," with the words from Vertical Greetings. Image
I added a half inch of polka dot DSP from the paper pack and a pink ribbon to the top. I scored the top tag under the polka dot paper so it would open! The little pink hearts were punched from the Confetti Heart Punch. All products are of course from Stampin Up!
