A Cute Little Bird Card That Looks Colored But Isn't!

Those of you that know me know that I love to cut things out, but I am not fond of coloring.  I will find anyway I can to color without coloring!

As a result, I found a card I liked that was similar but colored with markers and I designed it letting the paper do the work.  The only coloring is done with a sponge on the bird in Crumb Cake Ink and Soft Suede.  I love these little birds and the thinlets for the birds have an outline image but also an adorable cut out bird that I plan on playing with soon.  I created a tutorial for this card in TAMS.  When I finished it, I found out that right now those tutorials don't link to typepad, but they will soon.  If I can find a way to add the link to my blog I will do so.  Otherwise you will have to search for it on TAMS.  You can actually print the tutorial out from their site!  Pretty cool!

Quick and Easy!

Love the simplicity of this card! Just stamp the flower spray from Falling Flowers in black and cut out the card front with a banner thinlet! A five minute emergency card that looks awesome! The papers are from Playful Palette with a vanilla background.

A Four by Four Inch Piece of Designer's Series Paper Does it Again!

The new Floral Bouquet Designer's Series Paper really speaks to me. Buy the paper, some navy and white and a navy ink pad and your creativity is unlimited! Again I cut the paper 4 inches by 4 inches, so I could get 9 cards from each piece!
The new Floral Bouquet washi tape and layering ovals thinlets, make the card quick and easy! The new Better Together word set is my new FAV! I love how it has different fonts and words for inside and out!
