Daisy Delight Meets Merry Cafe!

Apple Cider reminds me of fall!  With the weather getting cooler in Wisconsin, thoughts of fall colors pop into my head.  I needed to create a 3 D swap for a retreat next week and this project came to mind.  The Painted Harvest DSP with the Merry Cafe words worked well with the Espresso paper cups and toppers.  The daisy punch in fall colors tied the whole project together!

And of course, what to fill it with?  Either a pumpkin spice latte or apple cider Keurig cup!

Christmas in August???

The new Holiday Mini is fabulous with a lot of hidden gems in it.  Some of the sentiments are wonderful because they not only are large, they also have great fonts!  I have made this style of card many times before, but it is an oldie but goodie.  It holds a gift card and takes only a few minutes to make!  It is great for birthdays, weddings, practically any occasion.  The tree punch is discontinued.  If I had the holly punch in the current catalog, that would have been a great addition to this card!  The Christmas paper is Be Merry from our regular catalog and the sentiment is from the Swirly Snowflake Bundle.  Below the photos is a great tutorial for those of you that  are not familiar with this fold!

Change a Card Color and Make it Look Totally Different!

Last week's card was a sympathy card in black on black.  Change part of the card to silver, use a different Embossing folder and the card design looks totally different!

 

Color Fuser August Blog Hop

I love the little animals in the A Little Wild stamp bundle. I've used every element in cards I have designed with this set.  I love that you see the front and back of each animal.  This month's card features the cute little elephant!

Sympathy Cards Made Simple

Online I found a white on white wedding card.  I used the basic design and made it black on black for a sympathy card.  It is stunning and I hope the photo does it justice.  The Florishing Phrases Bundle makes the entire card.  You only have to run the flourish die and small flower through the big shop one time and glue it to the Softly Falling Embossed Card to create this fast and easy Sympathy Card.
