I love to put a little something at everyone's place when I have people over for a meal. These are a really quick project with a great WOW factor. Just cut an acetate box in half and create the topper. Then add one embellishment, in this case a butterfly, and you are done! If I have a larger or smaller item to put in the acetate box, I cut the box based on the size of what I put inside.
The Snowflakes add a lot of pizzazz to the front of a candy box. This one is velcroed closed! It goes together in a snap! Hmmm, what about a Valentine treat in one of these boxes with a heart on the front!
Happy New Year! This card could have said CHAMPAGNE in honor of the new year, but it was a HOT CHOCOLATE kind of day when I made it. I love the Balloon Celebrations sentiments and they worked perfectly with this card. And since my birthday is in January, I thought, this is a card I would love to get for a January birthday!
I experimented with first scoring the card top and then running it through the brick wall embossing folder. It worked! The card pops up to a stand up card! I am sooo happy these Swirly Snowflake framelets were carried over from the Holiday Mini! With temperatures hovering close to zero, frozen silver Snowflakes seemed appropriate! The marina mist DSP is from the new spring mini catalog paper called Sweet Soiree. The back of the designer's series paper (DSP) is really pretty also with silver highlights! It was hard to choose which side to use.
