I designed the first blueberry card below.  Of course blueberries are one of my favorite foods. These cards just fall together with this set and the DSP makes designing so easy!  After I designed this card, I received two other birthday cards in the mail with this set.  I asked the designers if I could share them with you and they said, “Yes!”

My sister, Pam Burish’s favorite fruit is raspberries, so I wasn’t surprised when she sent me this beautiful card in the mail!

What's New at Stampin' Up! January Blog Hop!

IMG_1268

It's time again!  Time to hop with a great group of demonstrators from around the world that are HOPPIN' with new ideas.  We are featuring items from the Spring Mini and Saleabration Catalogs!  I love the new Birthday Cheer Bundle.  The sentiments are great and quickly fill up an entire page.  The images are bold and easy to color.  BUT my favorite part of this bundle is the edgelets.  I have designed several cards using these edgelets and love how easy they are to use!

When you add a few pieces of silver and gold behind the packages above, you get a stunning card!  Or if you cut out the cupcakes in the bundle and cut out cupcakes in two different colors of cardstock using the cupcake thinlets, in a few minutes you have an adorably SWEET card filled with decorated cupcakes.  The above card uses gold embossing powder and many components from the Birthday Cheer Bundle.  If you add either a package of the black foil paper that has been carried over from the Holiday Mini or the Broadway Bound DSP to your order, you receive a Saleabration item free as a bonus!

It's Like Magic! Reversible Broadway Bound Paper Makes an Awesome Card on Either Side!

I know!  I know!  Where have I been?  Gone, is the answer!  Retirement just offers too many fun things to do and I want to do them all! Travel, travel, travel and fun, fun, fun! The card below is one we made this summer at one of my Coffee and a Card classes.  I gave everyone the DSP and cardstock to make the card but I did not give them the materials to make the outside of the banner or words.  I had one card like below and one in a gold version and asked them to pick which one they wanted to make.  If they picked the gold one, I gave them a pieces of gold for their banner and words, but if they wanted the red and green, I gave them a piece of black for the banner and green for the words.  Those that picked GOLD always said, "But you didn't give me the DSP to make the gold one!"  I said, "Turn your DSP over!"  And Ta DA!  The materials for a gold card.  I LOVE the Broadway Bound DSP!  Try it!  You will be amazed!

More Graceful Glass Suite Samples From On Stage

IMG_2286
Isn't the weather dreary?  More posts from the cards I designed for On Stage.  Hopefully these cards will perk you up a little.  These are created with some of the new In Colors!  Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Blueberry Bushel.  Tomorrow I will post more somber colors using black and white as well as the wood grain papers.  These are great for sympathy and male cards too!

I am not posting them all because my Stampers have picked out their favorites for class and shhhhhh, those are a secret!

First a scrapbook layout, then the outside and inside of a card using those great Thinlets and finally, a card I made with the discards from the card card before!  I guess you shouldn't throw anything away!  Make a card with it!
