Cards - Quick and Easy

I'm Back! Here's a Saleabration Sneak Peek!

As many of you know, my mother has been in the hospital for five weeks!  I have been there every day and at times it was pretty scary!  Hopefully she will be transferred to rehab tomorrow!  My stamping was put on the back shelf all month, but with mom's improvement, my stampin' mojo has returned.  I have been busily designing lots of original designs with the new spring mini and Saleabration goodies, and they are really a lot of fun to work with.

Class schedules will be out soon, but I thought I would share a Stampin' Up! Preview video to get you in the mood for some great new projects.  I made four cards with the butterfly suite today and the components go together so well, it was very easy to design really cool cards in only a little over an hour!  I cannot wait to share them with you!

WIshing You Well - What's New At Stampin' Up! Blog Hop!

IMG_2491
Hello Again!  Thanks for joining our blog hop!  We are a group of demonstrators from around the world that are HOPPIN' with new ideas with sets from the new Holiday Mini Catalog!  The set I used this month is a real sleeper!  You could just slide right by it when you are looking through the catalog, but oh my!  Does it make the best cards and they are quick and easy!  Just one stamp makes lighter and darker images that makes it appear as if some leaves are behind the other and the bow looks just like see through lace.  One note of caution though, use a light touch and do not overload the stamps with too much ink!  Follow those rules and you will adore this set and its sentiments!

I love how the DSP coordinates so well with the Rooted in Nature Bundle!  This is a quick and easy way to use the bundle and DSP together.  Notice how the first card uses the new Embossing Thinlets to put leaves on the Cajun Craze Cardstock below.

More Graceful Glass Suite Samples From On Stage

IMG_2286
Isn't the weather dreary?  More posts from the cards I designed for On Stage.  Hopefully these cards will perk you up a little.  These are created with some of the new In Colors!  Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Blueberry Bushel.  Tomorrow I will post more somber colors using black and white as well as the wood grain papers.  These are great for sympathy and male cards too!

I am not posting them all because my Stampers have picked out their favorites for class and shhhhhh, those are a secret!

First a scrapbook layout, then the outside and inside of a card using those great Thinlets and finally, a card I made with the discards from the card card before!  I guess you shouldn't throw anything away!  Make a card with it!

Sweet and Simple

This was one of my favorite cards I made for the display boards!  It uses the wood grain DSP and Swirly Scribbles Thinlets to cut the curve.  The circle dies cut out the perfect windows for the stained glass vellum.  I love the fact that you can cut little pieces out of the Graceful Glass Vellum and make tiny windows.  I colored these with the Stampin' Blends in the front of the card.
