Color Fuser August Blog Hop

I love the little animals in the A Little Wild stamp bundle. I've used every element in cards I have designed with this set.  I love that you see the front and back of each animal.  This month's card features the cute little elephant!

Orchids!

The new orchid set makes gorgeous cards and 3D projects, as you will see in my two projects today.  First, I found a clearance rack plant and took off the flowers.  Then I stamped the orchids on Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with Raspberry Ripple ink, replaced the flowers with the paper ones, and look at the stunning result! Then I stamped the other style of orchids on Daffodil Cardstock with Crushed Curry ink.  Again, a stunning result.  The cards almost designed themselves!

Coffee and a Card Preview!

I was playing around with my inks and came up with a background that I really like.  It involves a bunch of layering, but each layer makes the final product look better and better.  Here it is!  IMG_0560

This will be one of the cards we will be making at our first Coffee and a Card!  Of course it looks better in person because photos never do the original justice.  If you would like to learn this technique (your choice of sentiments - Birthday, thank you, etc.) and make two other cool cards too, email me to sign up for Coffee and a Card on Saturday, April 15 at nine or eleven!  Space is limited, so when the sessions fill, they are closed.  A three month Coffee and a Card schedule will be posted after stamp camp next week.
